In the Sports Industry, nothing is more important than relevant experience. When you are at a job interview, you can only talk for so long about your class work. However, if you've helped manage a real sports event at a major facility; that is something you can talk for hours about. The real world experience you will get by being an active member will be invaluable both in school and after graduation.

The Mark H. McCormack Department of Sport Management Leaders Club is a student run sport management organization that is dedicated to helping students excel through experiential learning. We sponsor many tournaments and sporting events, host guest speakers every semester, and provide unique opportunities for students to interact with faculty, and gain real world experience in the sports industry. We also highly encourage innovation among our members.
The goal of the Mark H. McCormack Department of Sport Management Leaders Club is to help students achieve success and gain valuable experience that will help them in their internships and careers. We strive to provide a wide array of different experiential learning opportunities. We pride ourselves on the accomplishments of our members, and do everything in our power to prepare them for the sports industry.
